5 Styles That Are Easy for Dad To Achieve

Father holding daughter

Father’s Day is coming up and though you may already have a few gifts lined up for dad, one thing he’ll love more than a grill is precious time spent with his little one. And while your list of Father’s Day activities may already be jam-packed, giving dad the opportunity to try his hand at styling will build a bond between the two that can’t be broken. Here are five of the easiest styles for dad to achieve.

Two strand twists

Perhaps one of the easiest styles that dad can choose, two-strand twists are a style that they both will love. To achieve it, all dad will need to do is apply a bit of Baby Girl Curls — Curling Twisting Custard to each section and style as usual.

Double puffs

Prefer to try your hand at a cute puff style? Why not take it to the next level and make it double! After you’ve parted the hair down the center, be sure to apply the Knot Havin’ It – Leave-In Ultimate Detangling Moisturizer to make combing and styling easier.

Half Up/Half Down with twists

If dad isn’t looking to spend as much time twisting his little one’s full head of hair, giving the half up/half down with twists style a try might be best for him. To nail this look, all you have to do is part the hair leaving some hanging in the back and some loose at the top. Place the top half in a ponytail using the Knot Havin’ It — Leave-In Ultimate Detangling Moisturizer and the SLICKED! Flexible Styling Glue. Afterward, twist the back portion that was left out in small to medium-sized twists and do the same for the ponytail.

Curly Fauxhawk

Another easy and adorable look, the curly fauxhawk will make dad feel like a master stylist with no experience necessary. Start with sectioning the hair first from one ear to the other. After, part and place the desired number of sections in ponytails before styling each as you’d like. Don’t forget to oil each part with the E-Blast — Vitamin E & Flaxseed Nourishing Scalp Therapy!

Side Buns

Very similar to the double puff style, this style just requires dad to take a few extra steps. Instead of leaving the hair out as you would in the double puff style, Take each ponytail or puff and twirl it into a rope-like style before twisting it into a ball around the base of the hair holder. Secure by tucking the end into the hair holder or adding bobby pins. Still not sure how it’s done? Take a look at this video to get a better idea.
